On the event in Israel on the occasion of Cosmonautics Day

On April 11, on the eve of Cosmonautics Day, in the Planetania Center for Science, Space and Culture, Ambassador of Russia to Israel Anatoly Viktorov laid flowers at the bust of Yuri Gagarin.

In his speech, Anatoly Viktorov reminded that on April 12, 1961, Soviet officer Yuri Gagarin, who would have turned 90 this year, opened the way to space for humanity. Emphasized that today Russia is still one of the recognized leaders in the field of space research and manned flights. Noted that the focus of our efforts is the use of outer space for peaceful purposes. Welcomed the addition of Israel to the list of space powers.
